We represent clients based on a percentage of the amount recovered. This is called a contingent fee, which allows injured persons who cannot otherwise afford an attorney to obtain legal representation. If there are no damages or benefits recovered, then there is no fee charged for the time and effort we devote to working on your case. Under this arrangement we have a mutual interest with our clients in obtaining full and fair value on their claims. You can be assured that Goicoechea Law Office will work hard on your behalf, with your best interests in mind every step of the way. And you’ll never have to worry about whether or not you can afford us, because our compensation is based entirely upon the results we get for you.
In injury cases, there may be out-of-pocket “costs” or expenses incurred for medical records, filing and service fees, expert witnesses, etc. that are necessary in order to successfully pursue a claim. Costs are not part of the attorney fees. Usually, the costs are paid or reimbursed from the client’s portion of any recovery at the end of a case. We work with and counsel our clients on dealing with the costs associated with pursuing their claims.
